MERRY CHRISTMAS

Make the Yuletide Gay
I have always enjoyed Christmas and being gay – so I just knew that I would enjoy Make the Yuletide Gay.
Olaf “Gunn” Gunnunderson (Keith Jordan) is a 22-year-old gay college student who is totally out on campus and yet remains closeted to his quirky parents. So much so that on the way home for the Christmas holiday, he stops at a public restroom to “de-gay” himself.
Originally from the Midwest, Gunn’s father (Derek Long) is now a Southern California College professor and a heavy pot smoker who appears to have killed a few brain cells over the years.
The character of the Wisconsin mother Anya Gunnunderson, played by Kelly Keaton, provides most of the spirit and humor to the film with her ever-bubbly “don’tcha know” accent that reminded me of the St. Olaf tales that The Golden Girls’ Rose used to tell.

Everything is fine until Gunn’s more flamboyant and wealthy boyfriend Nathan, played by out Canadian Adamo Ruggiero, surprises him by showing up on the Gunnunderson doorstep. With Nathan not knowing Gunn was still closeted this leads to all kinds of awkward and amusing situations.

Jordan and Ruggiero are adorable together and if you are in a mood for a sweet, simple gay-themed holiday comedy – then Make the Yuletide Gay is for you, don’tcha know? Comments are off for this post

CONCLUSION
The story of Christian and Savvas
“Please come in,” I said, catching the mood. I closed the door and started walking away.
“Wait pretty Boy!” He pointed to mistletoe hanging from the ceiling. I turned and was quickly enfolded by his strong arms. He then walked into the salon, looking all around the room. “You have a wonderful place,” he said. He walked to the music center, picked up a CD and placed it in the Machine. The sounds of the Cantique de Noël of Adam filled the room.
“You remembered,” I said softly.

CONCLUSION
We decided to clean ourselves up a little and go for a ride, mounted separately. Chris handled Gus expertly, even bare back, bare assed and barefoot. I switched over to my mare Katie. It was a wonderful and carefree morning romp. Rarely have I ever spent such an altogether marvelous morning, exploring my entire domain and showing off to an appreciative viewer every one of its scenic, pastoral treasures.

PART SIX
The story of Christian and Savvas continues
Early the next morning, the telephone rang. When I answered, it was Hans Hendrickx, a friend of Tineke. He asked if Savvas and I would like to travel with them to Amsterdam for the Nutcracker performance. I accepted with thanks, but was a bit puzzled over the fact that he knew we were going. I soon forgot about it.
After lunch, we both got spruced up for the outing and when Hans and his wife Nelleke arrived, we departed. After a light meal at a Chinese Restaurant, we arrived at the Theatre. I walked up to the ticket desk, and mentioned that tickets had been arranged. We were surprised when an usher escorted us to the first row. As we sat down, Savvas nudged my arm. He pointed to Tineke with Anton and the other two ‘brothers’, Alexander and Philip.
“What’s going on?” I whispered. He mumbled a response and looked the other way.

PART THREE
In the cold of the North Pole, an elf has several ways in which to keep himself in good shape, most of which are not very fun. People do not realize how much it takes out of you making toys and doing all of the chores that are assigned to you when you work for Santa Claus. Even still, Michael had always loved to keep himself in good shape and more often than not, he could be found in the gym working out after putting in his share of work for the day. Michael wasn’t a body builder, but you could tell by the size of his massive arms and powerful chest that he had spent lots of time lifting weights. He exercised to keep himself in shape and healthy more than anything, but he couldn’t help but to smile when he posed in the mirror and watched as his muscles rippled across his smooth body. Michael was a very attractive elf as well, with a chiseled face and cropped black hair, he was the envy of several of the other elves. His piercing green eyes and powerful gaze only added to his rugged good looks and gentle personality, which made him very popular in the toyshop. 1 comment

Gay Christmas Music from Chanticleer
Chanticleer was named “the world’s reigning male chorus,” by the New Yorker magazine and gained popularity in the middle of the 1990′s due to it’s beautiful and at times haunting sound.
Based in San Francisco, Chanticleer has developed a reputation for its vivid interpretations of vocal literature from Renaissance to Jazz. With its seamless blend of male voices, they have earned international renown as “an orchestra of voices.” Listen to their magic.
During the 2007-08 season – their 30th year, the GRAMMY Award-winning ensemble is touring 22 states across the USA – including a visit to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., and New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. In January 2008, the ensemble will perform at prestigious venues in major European cities: Paris, Luxembourg, Bruges, Vienna, Prague, Budapest, and Vilnius.
I am planning on purchasing tickets for my friends and myself when they sing nearby in April.
